Prelude

Intro to Musings.

Warm yourself by the fire, internet wanderer.

The objective of this project is to put forth and gradually develop a novel, refined perspective on game development. I felt that this could be best achieved in the guise of a personal blog.

I would hope this can ultimately serve as complementary material to our games. The games should speak for themselves, provided they make the landing, but the more inclined might be interested in the zeitgeist of ideas from which they emerge.

Let the value of this articulation lie where it will.

#theory: A little more technical in substance; something of an informal 'paper' on either game design or programming.

#opinion: Lean towards being subjective, anecdotal, "I" and "my" - take it with a grain of salt.

Update (2026)

Some refinements have been made to earlier writing, in service of readability. You may find it still to be overly verbose and a little snarky. I do hope, at least, that the core message of each piece is appreciable.
